Dublin

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

Feb 24 - cold and grey here. But ah the Irish Earls are so regal! Mine took me to high tea at the Merrion - 5 star - in the heart of Southeast Dublin. My “duties” for the festival won’t officially start till tomorrow. I’m to report on the filmmakers whereabouts and press and such. Already I’ve been spotted by the paparazzi’s - which is fine. Off to a warm bath and some Jameson then dinner. Lets see what trouble I can get into tomorrow (speaking of which, this whole Charlie Sheen thing - see why a girl shouldn’t marry! he was so much better behaved when he paid for it.)

My new ASSIgnment

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

I’ve just learned a dear friend of mine - no not “that” kind of friend - is sweeping me off to Dublin next week. Not only will I have time to mingle with all those men in skirts - oh dear is that Scotland I’m thinking of? - well, whatever . . . I’m to learn a whole lot more about “Taking it off”. As if I didn’t already know everything. But it is a free trip, and I’m only to look enticing to producers and the like - oh, movie folk, I love them! - and send back blogs about the Dublin Film Festival where my dear friend is premiering her documentary about the stars of Burlesque!!! Just think, Lili St Cyr in her bath tub, Georgia Sothern holding that tiger, Gypsy, Ann Corio, Betty Rowland. . . . some of my best friends have been strippers. So stay tuned I’ll be sending you updates from the land of little green people. And Earl won’t miss me - his global amnesia has been working up. Cheers

Birthday Wishes

Seems making a wish on the ole (and not old) birthday candle works. My darling Earl surprised me with a diamond the size of an acron. More later
